Oxxgrit is a binary ionic compound derived from a steel mill oxide byproduct named Duramax. Duramax is produced by atomizing molten oxide, which gives it a microstructure suitable for blasting. After atomization, Duramax is processed through crushing and screening, becoming Oxxgrit.
