JetMag Blasting Media

JetMag is an Eco- & Operator-Friendly Blasting Media

Non-hazardous, non-toxic, completely inert and safe to use around water and all types of environment. The dust is classified by OSHA/NIOSH as only “nuisance” dust because it contains less than 1% free silica. JetMag abrasive blast media does not contain any of the OSHA identified heavy/toxic metals associated with slags and other mineral abrasives like Black Beauty aka Coal Slag.

This media is brown in color and  can sometimes be left behind as it easily blends in with dirt and grass depending on your project containment requirements. In fact, it’s a preferred packing material (grout) for geothermal pumps because it’s completely safe for the environment.

JetMag’s variety of grades give you the ability to achieve whatever profile you need. This engineered abrasive is manufactured and screened to very tight tolerances, eliminating a lot of excess fine and out-of-range large particles from its packaging. This means your equipment’s media valve can stay in a more closed position so you run more efficiently, use less product, and generate less waste.
